Dylan Takes Some Of His First Steps

Over the past two weeks, Dylan has been taking his first steps. He has taken as many as eight steps without stopping, but he often prefers to crawl to get to where he's going. We are so proud of him!

Surprise 30th Birthday Party

On Friday morning, at about 5:45 AM, Lynette and Dylan pulled up to the police station. After almost 12 hours of work, I was a bit confused as to why they were there, but I thought they might be taking me to breakfast.

A few hours later, we were at the airport in Bellingham. Lynette and I were on a flight with Timber, Amy, and Kyle. Dylan stayed with Grandma Helen and Papa Rob.

We boarded an airplane that was headed to Las Vegas!

Once we arrived at the airport, a limo driver was waiting to take us to our hotel.

We all headed to the Monte Carlo.

We took in a little sun by the pool before heading out to dinner.

Timber was ready for all the walking around on the Vegas strip.

He had a new pair of Chuck T's.

We went to Margaritaville for dinner.

My friends Shane, James, Justin, and Chris (from left to right in this picture) met up with us there.

Margaritaville was fun, as always.

On Saturday, we ate a brunch buffet at Caesar's Palace. We then did some shopping around at Caesar's and at another mall while Timber and Kyle did some golfing.

We then went to the Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay for dinner.

Saturday night, Tim went to check out some dance clubs.

On Sunday, we went to the New York, New York. We ate lunch at the ESPN Zone restaurant, and then rode the roller coaster on top of the hotel. Here, we posed by an impressive display of fresh steaks at a restaurant in the hotel.

Lynette and I returned on Monday afternoon. We were both very excited to see our Little Buddy. Here, he checked out one of the souvenirs that we brought back for him.
