Our 100th Blog Posting!

We posted our first blog on March 31st last year. Lynette was 7 months pregnant, and our house was nearing completion. One year and 100 posts later, quite a bit has changed!

On Monday the 26th, Dylan ate fish crackers from his school bus.

On Tuesday, the three of us drove down to the police academy in Seattle to attend the graduation of the newest Arlington police officer. I will begin training him in the field on Monday.

After the graduation, we posed for a picture.

Dylan did well during the hour-long ceremony.

Dylan wanted to go see what else was happening.

Okay, one last picture!

Grandma Johnson and Greats Nana and Papa met us at the graduation. We then headed up to dinner at a 50's style diner. Twenty percent of the proceeds that night went to Lynette's MOPS group (Mothers of Preschool Children) from church. In this picture, Dylan was sharing some of his dinner with Mommy. Dylan is very good at sharing!

After dinner, Dylan checked out the Easter Bunny.

We also did a little bit of shopping at the mall.

On Wednesday, Great Papa played peak-a-boo with Dylan in the mirror.

Dylan got dressed up to go see his Mommy. Mommy had to work Wednesday, but we were able to go eat lunch with her during her break.

We made it there just a few minutes before Mommy went on her lunch break.

On Wednesday night, Mommy pushed Dylan around on his bus. He loved it!

Dylan played with his Great Papa on Thurday.

Daddy had to go to work on Thurday night. Here, Dylan and Daddy said goodbye.

On Friday morning, Great Nana read Dylan a book.

Dylan had lots of fun with Grandma Johnson, Great Nana, and Great Papa during their stay. They left Friday afternoon for Portland.

9-Month Check Up

On Friday morning, we went down to Everett for Dylan's 9-month check up.

Dylan was 30-inches long, which was between the 90th and 95th percentile for his age.

Dylan was 26 pounds 4 ounces, which was off the charts! The third of three measurements taken, his head circumference, was also off the charts. His doctor said that he was healthy and was ahead of the curve.
