Playtime In The Crib

Yesterday, Dylan played with the penguin balloon that Landon gave him at the end of Landon's Birthday party. It proved to be a very fun and interesting toy.

This morning during nap time, Dylan figured out how to pull himself up in his crib.

Standing up is much more fun than lying down!

Landon's Birthday Party & Dylan Gets Dedicated

On Wednesday, Grandma Johnson came up from Portland to watch Dylan. Daddy got to hang out with Dylan and Grandma for a little bit before heading into work.

On Saturday, Dylan, Mommy, and Daddy headed down to Landon's for his 1st Birthday Party! Dylan and Landon got to play all afternoon (except for nap time) before the party. Here, Landon posed for the camera.

Dylan and Landon took a short break from the party for another photo opportunity. Landon's party was penguin themed, and he had the sweater and the socks to match.

Even though it was Landon's party, Landon gave Dylan a toy. Dylan was very happy.

Landon checks out some of his cool new toys.

On Sunday, Dylan was dedicated to God at Christ The King Church in Bellingham. Dylan did very well on stage in front of all the people. Afterward, fifteen of Dylan's family members joined him for a celebratory brunch.

Dylan enjoyed the food, even though we brought his from home.

After brunch, Dylan, Mommy, and Daddy went to Uncle Kyle and Aunt Feebs's house to watch some football.

Chewing and Sports Interests

On Monday, Dylan and Daddy hung out.

Can you guess who kissed Dylan on the cheek before leaving for work?

Dylan showed that football isn't his only interest.

"I'm going to hit it far!"

Maybe I'll try some mountain climbing, too.

Dylan loves stripping down to his diaper.

Here, Dylan thinks about crawling.

On Tuesday morning, Dylan was ready to eat.

Dylan has figured out the whole chewing thing this past week. Here he works on a carrot-flavored wagon wheel.

Dylan's First Hair Cut

Daddy switched back to the graveyard shift for 2007. His first two shifts were on Wednesday and Thursday. When Daddy got home on Friday morning, he was able to get two hours of sleep before it was time to watch Dylan. Daddy was able to get one more hour of sleep when Dylan took his nap.

On Saturday morning, the family packed up and headed to Bellingham.

Dylan had his first hair cut! Here is the "before picture." Dylan's hair had grown quite long, so Mommy set up shop at Grandma Helen and Papa Rob's house and gave Little Buddy the deluxe treatment.

The cape seemed like something that should go in the mouth, just like everything else!

Mommy is a pro, and Dylan did pretty good sitting patiently in the barber chair (aka high chair).

All done! The "after picture."

I did so good! And I look so good, too!

Later that day, Dylan discovered that the toy box can be just as fun as all of the toys.

On Sunday morning, before heading to church, Dylan hung out in Uncle Timber's room and played with Uncle Timber's football. Dylan was still excited about the Seahawks' win in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday night.

Happy New Year!

Last Wednesday night, Dylan played in his crib before bedtime.

He has been trying to pull himself up, but he hasn't quite done it, yet.

On Thursday night, Dylan did some splashing in the tub, as usual.

He has lots of new bathtub toys from Christmas.

On New Years day, Dylan and Daddy hung out at home and watched college football bowl games.

Dylan loves his new activity table, and he can hold himself up on it for short periods of time.

On Monday night, Dylan shared his activity table with his Mommy.

On Tuesday, Mommy and Daddy took down all the Christmas decorations and cleaned the house.

Dylan gave his Mommy kisses on Tuesday afternoon. Later that afternoon, the family went out to the new Bob's restaurant in Tulalip. We also dropped the Christmas tree off at the recycling center and then went to Target and GI Joes.
