February 28th

On Sunday, February 18th, Dylan had some spaghetti. He may have mistaken it for facepaint.

On Tuesday the 20th, Dylan lounged around at home.

He also explored the stairs, but couldn't figure out how to get up them.

During the past two weeks, Dylan has lost interest in most of his baby food. Here, Dylan enjoys a grilled cheese sandwich.

On Saturday the 24th, Dylan had a snack.

Pasta salad is good!

Yesterday, Dylan was dressed to go out shopping with Mommy and Daddy.

Dylan was happy and clapped for the camera.

We went to the new Red Robin in Marysville for lunch. Dylan ordered off of the menu for the first time! Dylan had a chicken quesedilla and some apple juice.
Later that night, Grandma Johnson came to visit, and it was her birthday! We had a nice dinner with her, and Dylan gets to spend the day playing with her today.

Happy Valentine's Day!

On Saturday, Dylan was busy crawling around the house...

And showing off everything that he could climb up on...

Even the wall!

On Tuesday, Mommy and Daddy both had the day off from work.

We got to hang out with Dylan all day!

Dylan checked out the view from atop his giraffe.

Dylan celebrated his first Valentine's Day. He loved the stuffed animal puppy that he pulled from inside his bag. He wasn't interested in seeing if anything else was inside.

Dylan and Daddy ate lunch with Mommy and Grandma Johnson at Mac Grill next to Mommy's work.

Later during the evening, Dylan and Daddy watched the #10 ranked WSU Cougars basketball team beat the unranked Huskies. Go Cougs! After Mommy came home, Dylan tried on a new hat.

Seattle Aquarium & Greenlake Park

On Thursday, Daddy and Mommy both had the day off work, and we had no plans. Mommy suggested that we go to the Seattle Aquarium, and Dylan made his first trip to an aquarium. In this picture, Dylan and Daddy checked out some Sea Otters.

Dylan was very fascinated with all of the sea creatures. Here, Mommy and Dylan were watching some Puffins.

After watching Ivan the Octopus at feeding time, Dylan pretend to be an octopus, too.

On the way back to the car, Daddy showed Dylan the pier where Mommy and Daddy were engaged. Some construction was in progess, though, and we couldn't go out onto the pier.

Grandpa Dan was driving up from Portland, and we met him at Greenlake.

We went to the park there, and Dylan got to swing for the first time!

Pretty fun!

Grandpa Dan also helped Dylan go down a slide for the first time!

Dylan looked a little skeptical...

But it was all a lot of fun in the end.

Sunglasses, Boat Show, Birthday Party, & Superbowl

Dylan posed for the camera on January 25th...

And proved that he would be an excellent sunglasses model.

Last Sunday, Dylan went to the boatshow in Seattle with his Mommy, Papa Rob, and Grandma Helen.

Dylan checked out the SeaSports, a boat company that his Great, Great Grandfather started.

Dylan also got a new buddy, a stuffed animal named "Crabby."

On Saturday night, we had a big birthday party for Chris at our house. We barbequed some steaks and played some Texas Hold'em.

We were playing against each other, but we were rooting for each other.

We played two games, and Lynette won the second.

On Sunday, we had about 15 adults and two kids at the house for a Superbowl party. Dylan's girlfriend Ava was there.

Dylan and Ava watched a little bit of the game.

They spent most of their time playing together, though.
