Oaks Park and Cannon Beach
On Tuesday (August 5th), we went to Oaks Park in Portland with Papa Dan, "Bama" Marilyn, and Uncle Justin. The first stop was at the motorcycles.
Next Dylan rode the rockets.
Dylan and Daddy rode in a hot-air balloon. Mommy and Bama rode in another balloon, and Uncle Justin rode in another.
Dylan's favorite ride of the day was the rollercoaster. He was upset each time we had to get off of it.
Dylan finished off the day on the cars.
On Wednesday (August 6th), we went to Cannon Beach.
We picked up a bucket and a shovel at the toy shop. Dylan loved digging and throwing the sand out into the ocean.
Dylan and Daddy built sand castles. Dylan enjoyed knocking them down.

LYNETTE!!!! Oh my gosh! So good to see a comment from you! And to see your blog! (: YAY!! Oh my goodness Dylan is soo cute and has gotten so big! He was so little when I saw him last! We need to get together! I was hoping you guys would be at Zach's birthday but Cindy said you both had to work! Lets all try to get together soon! Really, really good to hear from you!! Oh my we had so much fun at the beach and Oaks Park!! this week Dylan has been to the Oregon Zoo, a wedding reception, swimming at Kristina's,
playing with Johnny and Amelia, Sunday School; eating lunch with teacher Angie----oh yes, and playing with the water hose, Grace and Harley, "driving" Papa Dan's boat on dry land, and watering the flowers. There is nothing better than being "Bama" and Papa Dan!!
