Family Reunion

We packed up our suitcases, Dylan's suitcase, Dylan's bed, the dogs' supplies, and the dogs and headed over to Spokane on Wednesday. We had dinner with our friends, Larry and Heather, and then went to Glen and Ellen Anderson's house to spend the night. Grandpa and Grandma Johnson, and Uncle Justin, also stayed there that night.

On Thursday, we left for Montana and arrived in Livingston at 6 PM (Montana time). We had a barbeque with the Billmans and the Durgans at Aunt Lucy's ranch. The picture above shows the beautiful view she has from her front yard.

Dylan and Mommy hang out in the room at the Yellowstone Inn. This was Dylan's first stay in a motel.

On Friday, we spent time at the site of the family reunion. Grace and Harley loved playing in the Yellowstone River.

Another view from the Durgan's ranch.

On Friday evening, we went to a park in Livingston where the family reunion kicked off. Later, Dylan hangs out with Grandpa Dan at the Livingston Dairy Queen.

On Saturday morning, we headed back to the Durgan ranch for breakfast. Dylan tried to spend most of his time in the shade, as temperatures were hovering near 100 degrees.

Grace and Harley cooled off with their new friend Katy. Katy was a 9-month old chocolate lab who lived in Texas.

Here Dylan poses for one of many pictures at the reunion.

We left Saturday at about 4 PM (Montana time). We only made it about 50 miles before Dylan decided that he was hungry. After getting back on the road, we made it to Kellogg, ID before we had to stop for gas. We then drove to Spokane and stopped for dinner at about 9:30 PM. We decided that it was early enough that we could continue on to Marysville instead of staying in Spokane for the night. We made it home at about 3 AM.

On Sunday, we headed up to Lake Whatcom in Bellingham. Ron and Cheryl were having a farewell barbeque because they are selling their home there and buying one on the Bellingham Bay near Ferndale. In the above picture, Dylan is hanging out with Grandma Helen inside the house.

On Monday, I had to testify in court regarding a commercial burglary that occured in October. It happened on the same evening that Uncle Gordon came on a ride-a-long with me.
