Dylan's First Cruise

In this picture, Dylan has just had dinner, and he is feeling pretty happy in his Mommy's arms. Much of his happiness and sadness depends on the fullness of his tummy...

Here, Dylan is letting Daddy know that he is hungry and doesn't want his picture taken until he has had breakfast.

This weekend, we went up to Bellingham and spent time at Grandma Helen's and Papa Rob's. We celebrated Rob's Birthday and Father's Day since he will be gone on a Harley ride through Utah, Colorado, etc. during those events. On Saturday, we hung out at Amy's garage sale, and then headed south to Seattle. We boarded a 50-passenger boat on Lake Union. The boat was chartered for the graduation party of Jane Anderson. She graduated Saturday from the University of Washington with an engineering degree. Her parents, Glen and Ellen Anderson, threw a great three-hour long party for Jane. I (Dave) used to babysit Jane, and her brother Mark, about 15 years ago.

The cruise, which took us onto Lake Washington past some very extravagant homes, was Dylan's first boat ride. We even had a great view of Bill Gate's mansion, including the security guard on his property that watched us through his binoculars.
